Some items we recommend you have before bringing the puppy home are:

• A cage or crate
• Puppy food
• Food and water dishes
• A collar and leash
• Some toys for the puppy 
• Treats for training
• A vet, with a wellness appointment set up in the first week of bringing your puppy home

Its always a good idea to discuss food options with your vet.  Our vet recommended we stick with either Royal Canin, Hills or Purina brands when choosing a dog food, due the amount of scientific research that those companies put into their foods.  The puppies are currently eating Purina Pro Plan Puppy Sensitive Skin and Stomach - Salmon and Rice flavour.  

Each puppy will be sent home with a small bag of food to transition to whatever food you choose to feed.  If changing foods, its best to transition over a few days, to prevent stomach upset.  Start by mixing a small amount of the new food into a bowl of the old food and gradually increase the amount of new food over a few days.  

The puppies will all be microchipped and CKC registered.  Registration can not be completed until after the puppies have gone to their new owners, so registration information will be sent to you after the puppies have gone home.  

We will need the following information when registering your puppy:

• Full name of Owner(s)
• Mailing address
• Email address
• Phone number
• The name you are giving your puppy
